Unless the game uses Direct3D. VPC can't virtualize the 3D acceleration
or any other deep-direct-hardware dwiddling with enough speed to match
using native hardware (or sometimes, at ALL).
Civ III would probably be dandy under VPC or WINE. Just not, say, Max
Payne. For that, you require Windows.
