well, the interconnect port on the mp 2x00, if i'm not mistaken,
provides 2 full serial ports AND stereo out AND microphone in. it's just
that no one, beyond development prototypes, apparently ever produced an
interconnect dongle that had all the interfaces.
now, if there were a board for that, i'd certainly pony up for it.
it appears that the pcbman has removed his ser-001 upgrade, but you can
check out stereo dongle construction information at:

it was also covered in the list. the capabilities of the interconnect

chew on that. i know that audio IS handled by the OS through the
interconnect port. anyone have any information on the power in/out or
second serial port?
