No problem at all there, just too inconvenient for most people, especially
while traveling, after all, what spoils you more than a Newton ? ;-)

BTW, if you want to do this, get Nick's SoftCharge from
http://www.logictools.de/newton/english/index.html
will keep your battery reading ok.
