Or install SoLong on your Newton. It draws a metric/US English ruler on the
screen. Pretty clever (but of course can only display as much as the screen
allows). I found it on UNNA (http://www.unna.org/unna/utilites/SoLong/ ).

Between the built-ins and the clever apps developed, I can't get over the
Newton. In the words of Max (the mascot at MacAddict), "FREAKIN' AWESOME!"
