The aluminium shell could theoretically be made from standard plates and
L-profiles which are screwed together. This would look a bit strange, would
cause always black abrased traces everywhere, especially in pockets and on
all whithe clothes. But it would be very interesting since the Newton
electronics could be mounted together with e.g. a GPS receiver and a larger
accu set (GPS's need typically 8...18V).
