Re: [NTLK] Syncing with an App - maybe starting a petition

Hello,

Now Up to Date & Contact would be fine. Palm Desktop would be fine.
Chronos would be fine. Any of these programs I would accept.

I would like some type of PIM program to run on my Mac so I can input info
quickly when I am on my Mac and I get the info while I am on my Mac.
I think that others would think the same way.

The exporting to a text file is fine, but that doesn't solve the problem
of syncing. And how convenient is it to to that every single time?

My point is that if we had a petition that was signed by 1000 Newton users
that promised to purchase the program if it included Newton support then
that is $50,000 of guaranteed sales. I doubt any company could ignore that.
Quite possibly more people would sign it.

I could be wrong. I recently purchased my Newton and everyone else could
have their own solution already. But seeing the development of third party
solutions and kludges tells me that people still want to sync with their
current PIMs.

Sending a email to any of the major PIM developers probably wouldn't do
any good. Sending a petition signed by a thousand or so Newton users
promising to purchase the software if a feature was added might work.
