I agree,
The form factor of the Newt is more than perfect. I
was a bit perterbed that the 120's screen (my orignial
Newt) wasn't larger! I rejoiced at the screen size for
the 2000. All of the other devices I played with were
severly lacking in screen realestate...but that didn't
really matter beause they relied mostly on keyboard
for input. The only other device I used that relied
soley on handwriting input (not counting the Grafitti
devices, because that's as far from handwriting as
even using a keyboard) was the AT&T EO. And that was
the size of a notebook!
No, if the Newt is reduced in size, then I guess I'll
have to look somewhere else for my PDA requirements. I
have a collegue who uses the fabled HP Jornada...well,
he tries, but after 5 minutes of attempting, he
usually gives up and just leaves it closed up on his
desktop...
My Newt has become so reliable that when my manager
can't make it to a meeting, he asks me to take notes
on my Newt then email him the information...Not
something to be done so easily on anything smaller.
