I used to backup my 130 with NCU under classic in 10.04 serially (keyspan
adapter) worked fine. I currently backup my 2100 in 10.1 with NCU in classic
over Ethernet, but I don't think this would work well with a 130, if at all.

As far as I know there is no way to do localtalk over USB.
