Hi i ahave had some success with this after following Dakkar's advice
he has detailed advice on the following web page (all credits go to him)

further more a standard serial cable 25db from newton to nokia cable with a
25>9 pin adapter also works i used the nokia gsm auto (script) as found at
unna.org (i also tried a apple modem cable 9 pin which didnt work go
figure )
