It seems that our brief communications blackout has passed. I wasn't able
to ping the newtontalk.net server all day, but it's responding like a
spring chicken now. I know that Victor was aware of the server problem
this morning, because of a post to the NPDS list.

If this had been an expected outage, I'm sure we would have been
forewarned. It must have been caused by extraneous circumstances.

Glad to have it live again.
