Dear Jon and Mike,
Thanks for the help in my innocent query. I must admit, though, the
moment that I saw the Eagle emblem I instantly thought of Germany (hence my
initial question to the NUG). Yet I did not notice the BZT so I rechecked
and it is indeed there (specifically it states BZT G114/425E). Also in
the FCC ID it states that the unit must meet "the requirements European
Directive 89/336/EEC. Complies with the Canadian ICES-0003 Class B
specifications", yet my uMP2000 has this as well so perhaps this is
ubiquitous to all MPs?
It strikes me as interesting that, if the unit is a German model, that it
has what appears to be a fully English OS. Is it possible switch NOS, or
would this require a hardware along with software change?
An curious enigma, yes?
Always,
Sam
