If you use a "hub" in your network, then regular Ethernet patch cables are
fine. If you're trying to connect your Newton directly to your Mac, then you
need an Ethernet "crossover" cable. Any PC retailer that has a clue should
have a crossover cable. You might not find that at Radio Shack or Best Buy,
though...
