You mean you can make any new tip, but probably none which works with the
click-in mechanism of the MP2k. A slightly wrong tip length and you're lost,
it doesn't work. I've already passed thru the
knife-cutter-and-any-soft-material phase and tried something more
professional. Currently I'm working on a specially formed knife to get the
form right on the lathe. The other problem is the shaft of the tip which has
to have also a sort of right diameter. The original tip shaft has three
faces, probably to have some space for the self-cutting thread.
