Thats completely right in case you use the option < Text only >, I checked
it again just a few minutes before. To be honest, I used this option first
as well, because it seemed to me the simplest one.

Totally agree. (But there is an option that works well)

Ok, I have to admit, that the Export procedure is not that smart, but it
works very well, if you chose RTF format...
And the amazing thing is that you can export drawings and sketches this way
as well and they look pretty nice in Word - try this with a Palm ...

I do nor understand what has been changed that this simple "Text only"
export does not work properly and I am not sure if the problem is on the
Newt side or in NCU ...
Normally I would expect that such an exported note would be easily readible
using SimpleText or BBEdit.

Again, I totally agree. This is just another option I would prefer for
longer texts.

In Fact, BBEdit (light) seems not to be able to handle RTF properly -> i.e.
a lot of control signs are displayed. But in Word it looks nice and you
really have only the one heading line that I mentioned at the beginning...
