I'm always on the prowl for prototypes and oddball Newtons as well. I
have a clear case MP110 (one of the models sold to developers), a
Motorola Marco, a couple of Sharp ExpertPads, and a Japanese OS-based
Bunn Warmer prototype. Pictures and brief descriptions of the prototype

I don't know if it counts as unique, but my main non-upgraded MP2100,
actually has a MP2000 backplate. As I mention on my NPDS server:

     "Maybe it was built over lunch hour on some Friday, using a pile
      of spare parts they had lying around. Maybe since the platform
      was canceled, my Newton is suffering from some sort of personality
      disorder or is having unresolved identity issues. Whatever it is,
      I'm fairly sure that it's not serious. Or contagious."
