I do this every 100 bytes, i.e. every 200 characters.
But again, with HyperTerminal (I used this a lot for importing notes
and stuff)
it did the same: Always stopping when the len indicator hits 86830.
Perhaps I can send you my Sloup file so that you can test it in your
configuration?
