[NTLK] Slow www - will memcard help? + AP dreams

Hi List!

I fooled around with NetHopper a bit after I finally got my Newt to connect
to my AP-Base, and I noticed that at some point, the Newt will slow down,
stop, sometimes even freeze completely, and sometimes burst out the page
after a minute of nothing. I figured that this *might* be connected to my
cute 400k of free internal storage and wondered whether a big memcard
(32MB?) could help regarding speed & stability.
If I could get it to work reliably, my next long-term-project would be
persuading some of the computer-people on my floor at the university into
setting up an AP-Base near the caf=E9, and to name it and it's channel-11 net
Newton to thank me for partly sponsoring it... that would be *nice*.

It would be even nicer though if the next WLAN-driver would be able to trac=
e
and hook up to any given WAP, no matter what it is called, no matter which
channel it uses... I would *pay* for such a driver.

Oliver :)
