If there was no such thing as a Newton I would use a Palm. Of course, if
there was no such thing as a Newton there would be no Palm. ;)

On one hand, the Newt's greater size means you have more time to decide

to do when the critter decides to start scuttling up toward your arm.

OTOH, the Palm is worthless enough that you can just toss it AND the
spider
out into the rain...
