I do not know if this is a function of the driver for the card or of the
Newton Internet/Ethernet packages. You are correct in that there is a
problem with the 'timing' or how the negotiation is handled between the Newt
and the switch. Again running the Newt to a 10baseT hub before the packets
hit the switch works fine ALL the time.
