[NTLK] What is the correct line width setting?

Hi folks,

could someone please solve something that so far is a
mystery to
me?
I would like to format my posts in a way so they can easily
be read.
This means that I would like to set the number
of characters per line in a way that there aren't any lines
that
contain only one or two words because some mysterious
automatic
wrapper has wrapped my lines after they left my computer.
I used to have OutLook Express wrap lines after 76
characters,
however, in the digest the lines are wrapped differently. I
then tried
60 characters, still in the digest the lines were wrapped
differently.
I don't think the actual number is the problem because I see
posts
from other list members with lines two or three times as
long as
mine that aren't wrapped. And I just send plain text.
Any ideas what I could do to make my posts look good in the
digests and make reading a bit easier for you guys and gals?
Please no ideas like "abandon Outlook and use xy
instead"...

Thanks

Frank
