Although I am not a Windows user, one of the issues you need to be
concerned about is that the Newton can't keep up with the serial port
speed of modern computers. There is a program called "slowdown.exe" to
deal with this. I believe there is also an NCU patch as well. More
experienced users will no doubt chime in.
