Quite frankly, I paid $600US for my first 2100 about a year *before* the
flood just so I could have one. I've bought several more at "flood"
pricing because they're useful, lovable little buggers - not because I
needed a backup. If the price goes up again due to available issues, and
I need another green friend, I'll pay whatever the market dictates for it.
There is nothing else out there exactly like a Newton.
