I actually used a palm for about 3 years. A IIIc, Still have it but it burnt
itself out somehow (grr). To be honest the one word I use to describe it is
'limited' minimal expansion capabilities, crap all memory, hideously slow
at processing some things and as for the palava one had to go through to get
it to show a bitmap! There was only one app which I was genuinely impressed
with on it and I wrote it =] It was a Magic the Gathering Deck Building suite
and I was damn chuffed... Until the day when it ran out of batteries and wiped
itself whilst I was on holiday in England (stupid me had lost the USB / Serial
adaptor and so hadn't bothered to leave it in its cradle or indeed use it
for a good while)...

To be honest I can't really compare it to a Newton until I actually get
to use mine (am counting down the delivery days) but from what I've seen of
the Newton it really does make the little PDA seem paltry.

   One last thing... Graffiti sucks....

Many of you might actually use it but when I saw Graffiti for download for
the Newton OS I was horrified =] It would be like taking an iMac and painting
it beige =] All that lovely HWR forsaken *chuckles*
