I'm not sure I would put the Sinclair in the same class as the Apple ][.

Actually, I still have an old membrane keyboard ZX80. I never had a
power supply for it, so I have no idea if it works or not. Did they
have a built-in OS? Or did you have to load it somehow? I don't
remember seeing any connection for external storage.
