The Newton has two recognizers.

Paragraph's and Rosetta.
Paragraph is the cursive recognizer and Apple doesn't have the
technology. Rosetta is the printing recognizer and it belongs to
Apple.
They cannot put Paragraph in Jaguar. Especially since Paragraph is
now more or less sold to Microsoft.
