Hi,

I've tried something similar in the past without much luck (this was pre
OS9)

The Mac at a basic level does pick it up and ID it correctly as an
ethernet device but
it doesn't seem to associate it properly with Appletalk & TCP/IP unless
the correct
driver is installed.
