For users with fairly recent graphics cards, Quartz Extreme makes the
entire update worthwhile. Frees up your processor for other tasks and
correspondingly makes your machine much snappier. Even if you don't use
the .Mac features, iCal, iChat, or Windows network browsing, the junk
mail filter is a major timesaver.
Of course I'm biased, and I didn't have to pay for it either... :-)
