You mean that icon that appears at the top of the screen, in the middle?
Usually, that is displayed when some lenghty operations are executed,
sometimes in the background. It shouldn't stay on for long, a minute at
most, depending on what you have running on your MP. If it stays longer than
that, there might be a problem in some apps or extensions...
