I found that there was a hoop to jump through with my belkin. I only used it in 9.2 never
tried OSX.

Launch NCU. then plug the belkin usb cable into the usb port.

Look in prefs of NCU choose Belkin

I think thats the way. I have gone to the ethernet and have never looked back ;)
