The only way I can see this working is to e-mail the notes to an
account you can retrieve from your desktop.
There's no peer-to-peer data transfer software for going between
NewtonOS to Windows that works over TCP/IP. X-Port and NCU/Windows are
serial only. DIL tester lets Newts and Windows computers talk over
TCP/IP but that program does not have the facility of transfering text
data from the Newt to the Windows machine; you can get text from
Windows to Newton but not vice-versa. IM isn't an option either, since
none of the three IM clients for Newton allow sending text except what
you write or type.
Unless I've missed something in my hours of experimenting, the only way
you can get text from Newton to Windows is over a serial cable, or
through the intermediary of e-mail.
