Man! I would LOVE a Q950 to use as a big, fat, obnoxious server!
I successfully got my install of Basilisk to backup my Newton three
nights ago. It was using the ROMs from an LC575 that I also use at
work. AppleTalk works as well as Ethernet access to the WWW. It's a
great way to get started on the Mac with your Wintel box.
All '040 processors are 32 bit clean. Your Q950 is clean, but the ROM
might be a little cranky with Basilisk. An example being the Q700's
ROM....That particular ROM will not allow AppleTalk to function under
Basilisk at all--making it useless for working with NCU.
