John:

I would recommend either an upgraded 2000 or a 2100.

I used a 2000, but found that for intensive programs and operations,
such as receiving email, browsing the 'net, and running things like
MoreInfo (a really good contact manager), the lack of memory was
annoying at best and at worst caused me to frequently reset the 2000 or
get out of memory messages. Since an upgraded 2000 is the same as a
2100 (except for cosmetics), I would suggest getting the best deal on
one of those.

Hope this helps.

Patrick

Everyone has a photographic memory. Some just don't have film.
