According to
http://archive.dstc.edu.au/AU/staff/david-arnold/newton/interconnect.html
(Thanks David), the max load for a peripheral on the NIC is 100ma. I have
one 2mg flash card (MP2U) and want to use 5volt out of the NIC for GPS
Receiver that draws 175ma (.88 watts). Anyone have any thoughts about
exceeding this max by 75ma? Will something bad happen to me for even
thinking this or will I just need a lot of batteries?

Thanks way in advance!
