I agree. I have a MP100 and it is very limited. I still love using it.
But unless you want to piss off your DAD I would definitely go with the
120 or 130. Something you can at least get regular email on. Having an
MP100 is kinda like having an old classic car. You drive it because you
love it not because it's practical and fuel efficient. (the MP100 is
definitely not fuel efficient - eats batteries) It takes a lot of work
to keep it on the road, and it is not for the average consumer, who
would be better off with a machine that they can spend more time driving
than maintaining. I am not saying it is useless, far from it. I just
think your Dad's user experience would be better with a 120/130.
Something with a backlight other wise the screen is a bit hard on the
eyes.
