    I have a 5300c and sent a 5300cs off to my father. They're not speedy,
but they'll run OS 8.6 no problem.
    If the one you're looking at hasn't been through the Apple repair and
qualifies you can have if returned to near-new condition for free.
    Make sure the battery works though if you want to use it as a portable
... a replacement battery costs a fortune.
    Also ... $150 might be more reasonable than $200 (you're talking U.S. I
trust).
