Say.....
On my 2100, when I run Avi's backdrop, I often watch my heap drop (comes
with age?) all the way to 40k or so before it bounces back to 360k. I can
make it get slurped bu repeatedly opening the extras drawers, etc. This
doesn't happen with, say, nifty drop.
My questions:
1- is that normal? (I don't remember it happening like that)
2 - How does the heap management work, anyway?
3 - Does it do any real good to tap a heap app to free it up?
(Psychologically it does....:))
