Re: [NTLK] How to remove ink from screen?

I picked up a MP2100 from Mr2ndHand that had ballpoint ink on the screen. I
used the citrus oil and lanolin based cleaner "De-Solv-It" to remove the
stains. I started by dampening a soft cloth with the cleaner and lightly
wiped the surface until the stains were removed. Careful not to overload the
cloth with solution or it may run past the screen to the PCB. I "de-greased"
the screen using the same cloth (the other end) dampened with isopropyl
alcohol, don't over-do it because some have reported that alcohol is
damaging to the screen. Then I did the final cleanup with one of those
commercial screen cleaning solutions.

I am curious on how to remove ball-point pen ink from the newton screen? The
screen is not indented or damaged. The newton has pen ink all around the
four corners of the screen. I am considering a dissassemble of the newt,
removing the screen and trying to clean the screen carefully by hand. Any
ideas?
