Yep, that's a lot of snow no doubt about it.

FWIW, the __average__ number of snow days in Sapporo are:

     Nov 14
     Dec 26
     Jan 30
     Feb 26
     Mar 26
     Apr 8

As you move up away from the city, it snows almost every day --
especially in the center to Northern part.

Check out this picture from Hokkaido...that's a regular tour bus! :-)
