Actually, if you look closly at it and it's specs,
you'll find that it is closer to the laptop than it is
to the Cube. Check out the SoDIMM memory. Two slots,
one occupied! Sounds like a laptop to me!
Check out it's minimalized video our port (requires a
VGA converter...>>>AARGH! can anyone say "Quadra"?<<<
or perhaps PB160?)
Check out it's power plug? Hmmm, that looks like the
plug to my Dell laptop, it does! BTW, is the
powersupply built into that thing, or does it have a
20 pound power-vampire hanging off of it?

Basically, this new iMac is nothing more than a
repackaged laptop...simple!

(I did this years ago with an old NEC Vectra. Turned
the guts into a desk unit. It was built into a drawer.
and relocated the display as a raw LCD (surrounded by
electrical tape to reduce the light seepage from the
edge lit LCD) and sitting on a gooseneck. This beast
was my midi computer for my Yamaha Synths for years!)
