Hehehe...

I only buy what I can personally afford. I mean, I would like that Dual
Processor mac with the flatscreen, or heck even the lowest g4 tower mac with
no monitor would be nice, but alas I can only afford an iMac. *sigh*

The down side of that is that if you buy merely what you need today, you may
be underpowered in the future. I expect my computers to last me a few years
of upgrades and expanded needs. Say that you advise that somebody buy a
cheaper, slower model, and they discover that the _love_ digital video and
editing. Now they have a computer that doesn't match their needs. It is
always a little better to build a little headroom into your projected needs.
