Eh, it's PAul Guyot, but I guess that was a typo and I don't get what
alt...rec has to do with this.
If you're looking for a macro kind of package I would think that one of the
caret enhancers would do best, though you would have to double tap you can
ad full phrases AFAIK.

Now for a list of caret enhancers, I think there's something called Caret
Pro (freeware) since I couldn't find it on the web myself I just posted it
on Unna, can mail it to you if you would like that, please specify if your
on a Mac or a PC (though your posting seems to suggest a Mac ;-)

Landware has the Writestuff Toolset that includes the CharPicker Tool at
http://www.landware.com/writestuff/index.html
($19.95 commercial)

Menu Editor from
http://www.standalone.com/MessagePad/products/2.1/content21.html will do but
is also a bigger package, nice features too though... ($29.95 commercial)
