Hi Hans,
You got my curiosity up, so I checked my Newts.
All my models (2000 and 2100) do not have a spring loaded tab slider on
the port (where the Dongle connects) cover door.
Are you by chance talking about the screen cover door? That one does
have a spring loaded tab slider thingy.
