   The general consensus I've heard is that they want people to buy the
Airport card, which IS a silly-ass reason - they could at least support
the WaveLan if you already HAVE an Airport (I'd like to use a WaveLan
with a TiBook to get better reception.)

   I haven't looked into packet sniffers, but just had to mention the
name of one I found on SourceForge: AirSnort (complete with a pig
logo!). That might be interesting to port to Newton (is Hiroshi
planning to release an API?)
