that's what i use in an upgraded 2000. no probs at all, load the drivers
internally however, not on memory card, it could cause probs i think. i use
it to connect to my OSX g4 via NCU running in classic, as well as web and
email, also printing to a laserwriter NT via appletalk and a dayna
etherprint.

Anyone used a 3Com 3C589D PCMCIA Ethernet Card in their 2100? Does it work
well? I've discovered an old Asante FriendlyNet PC Card (10BASE-T & Thin
coax) that I used to link my 5300 Powerbook up with our office LAN, but the
Newt doesn't seem to like it ...
