Good question.
One story.
Years ago, when I was doing some low level programming using my 840av, I
found that the voice recognition worked pretty well.
With voice recognition turned on, when my keyboard and mouse would
freeze, many times I would be able to restart my computer via voice
commands.
It saved hitting the RESET button, and a slow reboot.
Cool stuff.
