Imagine a lid with a large rectangular cut in its center and holding a
screen protector or a clear Piacryl window (no Windows!!!). Another good
remake for the lid would be an extruded Aluminium piece. Imagine an extruded
(several meters long) Al-piece, cut in pieces of the size of the Newton lid
and modified with a milling machine to provide all the hinges and fixations.
