Jonathan,
I'm bewildered. I keep seeing this sort of logic every so often, and
don't understand it at all. What compels some of us to reason that
because an employer is set up for the Palm platform, that I must dispose
of a Newton?
Job requirements are job requirements, meet them or turn down the job.
Is one of the conditions of your employment that you stop using a
Newton? If the Newton experience is engaging, stimulating, mind
altering, rewarding, it stays. Other things, that fall short, come and
go. Where is it written that a choice must be made? Where is the
challenge on the Palm platform that would nourish personal development
like courage, cooperation, generosity, kindness etc. The couple of
hundred dollars that your Newtons will fetch, if money is the motivating
force, is insignificant. It only represents the Newton as an object.
Sorry to see you go Jonathan, Roman
