Well, seeing as they're reusing the HWR in MacOS X, you can bet that it's
not going to see the light of day. Now, a more realistic goal might be to
get bits and pieces released to specific individuals (or a non-profit corp -
i.e., a group of Newt Programmers??!). There's been some mention that
getting the communication code and getting access to screen drawing other
than thru NewtonScript would both be useful. But even with relatively small
bits, I doubt Apple would do that.
