Yes, he did, but what did he see in the eMate? Obviously not its Newton-
derived innards that he didn't care about. SJ's love for the eMate
eventually led to the introduction of the iBook which, while being a
great product in its own way, is something completely different.
Steve's love for the eMate wouldn't have stopped him from killing the
Newton because what he loved about it had nothing to do with the eMate
being a Newton.
