I'm having some trouble getting WEP to work. I can't set the "SSID"
and "WEP Key" to different values. When I change one value, the other
value gets changed as well.
I don't understand the difference between "string" and "hexidecimal"
WEP keys. My SMC Barricade lets me specify WAP encryption at "64 bit
automatically" or "64 bit manual". Automatically asks me for a "pass
phrase", manually asks me for hex digits. I tried setting SSID and
WEP Key String both to "NEWT" and setting the barricade for SSID
"NEWT" and Wep Automatically with passphrase "NEWT"... and it still
